1. The Junior Holy Name Society of San Pablo City celebrates its 7th year anniversary today. Happy anniversary to all JHNamers! Kuya Buddy informed me that mass will be offered today at 5:15 p.m. in the SPC Cathedral. (Also, happy birthday to Derek, a member from the first batch, of which I served as rector.)
   
   
2. From Ian Casocot: Many of the winning works in this year's Palanca awards are featured in Issue #8 of Literatura. (Two of the poems from my collection "Tayong Lumalakad Nang Matulin" are there: "Kuwentong-Bayan" and "Walang Diwata ng Apoy.")
   
   
3. From Ma'am Alma Miclat: Conspiracy at Visayas Ave. is having Mario Miclat on September 28, Tues, at 9 p.m., as the featured poet. Please come.
   
   
4. The second part of my lecture on the creative process for the Ateneo de Manila High School's Samahan sa Filipino will be on Wednesday, September 29, 2004, at 3:00 p.m.
